Christmas Haul & FOTD 12/31/11 Post-Holiday Berry Lip and Gold Eye Look

So sorry for the lack of posting these days! The holidays really caught up to me and all I wanted to do was spend time with my lovely family and friends.. But now I'm back and I have much to blog about!

In my last post, I showed how I was really into gold, rusty bronze eye looks for the holiday, and for my post-holiday look, I still kept up with the gold eye look but this time I paired it with a berry lip. Revlon's lip butter in Fig Jam actually! It's a pretty brick red that isn't too bright and flashy, but is a subtle red that looks beautiful with a gold eyeshadow. Here's a picture of what I came up with:
The bronzed gold eye doesn't look too sparkly in this picture (sigh, I need a new camera..) but I used MAC's pigment in Pink Bronze and my new Coastal Scents Metal Mania palette!
I put little dino pictures on the colors I used :) Very golden and bronze, yes? :) Thank youu to my roomie for this Christmas present :) hehe <3

Also, here's a picture of my Christmas haul!!!

Philosophy's Purity cleanser - HOLY GRAIL cleanser. I love this milky, mild cleanser! Washes off all my makeup faithfully each and every night! This is my 5th bottle. Ridiculous, I know.
Philosophy's Miracle Worker Moisturizer - this is great for the dry winter nights these days. It's not too heavy and it's a great night-time cream. There isn't a scent so I love it and the cream feels so refreshing when you first put it on. Also love how I don't wake up like a greaseball because other moisturizers makes my skin very oily when I wake up.
Coastal Scents's Metal Mania Palette - GREAT compilation of colors, all pigmented and shimmery. I love. After receiving this, I seriously feel like I shouldn't buy anymore eyeshadows.....ever.
Laura Mercier's Silk Creme Foundation in Sand Beige - It's been a little cakey on my skin lately and it hasn't been blending in that well with my skin when I use my fingers. I just recently got an HD foundation brush from Sephora so I'll be trying that out to see if it'll blend in better... Let's hope for the best?
Revlon Perle eyeshadow in Violet Starlet - I got this during the crazy CVS sale and it turned out to only be $1 and some change! Maybe around $1.67?? It was super cheap, I couldn't resist. The pigmentation isn't all that great but it's a pretty purple that goes well with brown eyes. For less than $2, I'd say it was worth it!
Revlon Lip Butters in Fig Jam, Lollipop, Strawberry Shortcake (thank you Yoomi!! <3)

Definitely feels good to be back and blogging! :)
