Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Swatches Pictures and Mini-Review

There's been a crazy rave over these new Revlon Lip Butters so I had to go out and see what it was all about! I saw a couple videos on them already so I just picked out the colors I thought I'd wear the most. But I'm already loving the formulation and the pigmentation - maybe I'll go out and get some more..

I found a really big counter at my local CVS displaying all the currently available colors (12 or so?) and on the other side of the counter was another mini-display containing a couple more of each color. Right now there's a Buy 1 Get 1 50% off so go take advantage of the deal! Unfortunately I couldn't find Strawberry Shortcake, but here are the ones I did find:

1. Creme Brulee

2. Cupcake

3. Peach Parfait

4. Cotton Candy

Here are more pictures, swatches, and my reviews:

Tada! :)
They're suuuuper moisturizing and really easy to work with. They really are just like a lip balm but much more pigmented. The ad said that these lip butters improve moisture by 156% ?? We'll see about that hahaha, such a high number!

This one is Creme Brulee, the color is similar to MAC's Viva Glam Gaga II. It's a brownish nude that could potentially wash out your lips but it adds such a nice sheen that it doesn't. Also, all of these lip butters are really buildable and the color really starts to pop after about the 3rd or 4th swipe on the lips. AND, these lip butters barely have a scent, which I'm in love with. If anything, there's a tiny tinge of vanilla scent, reminding me of MAC lipsticks. But it's not even as strong as MAC's scent.
This one is my favorite :) Me and my nude lippies!

This one is Cupcake, which I would also say is very similar to MAC's Viva Glam in Gaga. It's a true but muted baby pink color. A little blue-ish and has a cool tint.

This one is Peach Parfait. It's a pretty peach, sheer wash of color with relatively large golden specks. All of the lip butters have a little bit of small shimmer in it but I'd say that this one (out of all that I have) definitely has the most glitter.

This one is Cotton Candy. It's kind of similar to Cupcake but is darker and has a tinyyy bit of a warmer tone to it. You can even tell by the outer packaging that this color is supposed to be a bit darker and more fuschia-pink than Cupcake.

And here are the swatches on my skin:
Regular shot.
Keep in mind that I swiped the lip butters 5 times with each to get the color to show! :)

Close up of the swatches. Do you see how they all have the prettiest sheen to them? Almost like glosses but not as sticky! The perfect lip balm.

I loveeeeeeeeeeee. Go check them out!! Before your nearest drugstore runs out of them :)
